Inside bets

As its name suggests, Inside bets are wagers placed on the numbered spaces on the betting table or in the lines between them. This is composed of the following subtypes:

• Straight Up: It’s a type of bet placed on any single digit on the table including zero
• Split: This is a bet placed on either the vertical or horizontal line between two numbers
• Street: It’s a bet placed at the end of any row of numbers covering three digits
• Corner: This is a specific bet put on the intersection of four numbers so it includes all the four digits surrounding it
• Line: It’s a bet put at the end of two rows on the intersection line between them which then covers six numbers in total.

Outside bets

For bets placed on special boxes or the side of the main grid of numbers, these are commonly called Outside bets. This specific category of wagers does not include zero. Here are the groups under it:

• Column: It’s a type of bet placed on one of the boxes marked ‘2 to 1’ at the end of a certain column, covering all the 12 numbers part of it
• Dozen: This type of bet entails choosing between three different sets of 12 namely the first 12, the second 12 or the third 12 located below the inner betting table, including all the 12 numbers above the certain box
• Red/Black: It’s a type of bet that’s positioned on either the Red or Black box which covers 18 red or black numbers
• Even/Odd: This is an eighteen number bet that’s placed on either the Even or Odd boxes
• 1-18/19-36: It’s another eighteen number bet that chooses between the first or second set of 18 numbers on the betting table.
